color: rgb(102, 0, 0);"&gt;A Batalha de Inglaterra - 1940&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Batalha da Grã-Bretanha, mais conhecida como Batalha da Inglaterra, foi travada entre as forças aéreas da Alemanha nazista (Luftwaffe) e a força aérea britânica (RAF - Royal Air Force). Esta batalha representou o primeiro movimento alemão com o objectivo de concretizar a posterior invasão das ilhas britânicas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Embora a Batalha da Inglaterra tenha sido relativamente curta - 20 semanas - para os pilotos parecia não ter fim, a simples luta pela sobrevivência impelia os dois lados. A&lt;br /&gt;Batalha da Inglaterra cessou quando o Outono forçou Hitler a abandonar a Operação Seelöwe (Leão Marinho), o seu plano de invasão ao Reino Unido. Somente quando o Inverno se aproximou, os ingleses se aperceberam de que tinham sobrevivido à batalha. Com a queda da Noruega, Dinamarca e França, em Junho de 1940, a Luftwaffe ganhou importantes bases aéreas para se lançar no maior combate aéreo da história. A vitória parecia possível partindo da costa francesa pelo Canal da Mancha.&lt;br /&gt;As forças aéreas alemãs tornaram-se invencíveis desde a conquista da Polónia e da França; além disso, tinham o avião Messerschmitt Bf 109E, um dos mais formidáveis caças do mundo, tinham óptimos pilotos, comandados por ases da Primeira Guerra Mundial. Truman, nos dias &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;6 de Agosto e 9 de Agosto de 1945&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;Após seis meses de intenso bombardeio em 67 outras cidades japonesas, a bomba atómica "Little Boy" caiu sobre Hiroshima numa segunda-feira. Três dias depois, no dia 9, a "Fat Man" caiu sobre Nagasaki.&lt;br /&gt;Historicamente, estes são até agora os únicos ataques onde se utilizaram armas nucleares.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As estimativas do número total de mortos variam entre 140 mil e 220 mil, sendo algumas estimativas consideravelmente mais elevadas quando são contabilizadas as mortes posteriores devido à exposição à radiação. Mais de 90% dos mortos eram civis.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;As explosões nucleares, a destruição das duas cidades e as centenas de milhares de mortos em poucos segundos, levaram o Império do Japão à rendição incondicional em &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;15 de Agosto de 1945&lt;/span&gt;, com a subsequente assinatura oficial do armistício Este é considerado o pior e o mais longo período de recessão económica do século XX. Teve início na Bolsa de Nova Iorque (crash da Bolsa) e rapidamente alastrou a todos os sectores da economia nos EUA e a todos os países com os quais os americanos mantinham ligações financeiras. Industrialização fraca, concentrada em poucas cidades. Comércio pouco dinâmico.&lt;br /&gt;• A agricultura ocupa a maioria da população, mas era pouco produtiva e os instrumentos agrícolas rudimentares. Petersburgo) e protestaram contra o regime exigindo o fim do  czarismo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;• Reorganizaram-se os sovietes, conselhos de operários e soldados, surgidos no movimento de 1905. Todos pressionavam o governo provocando manifestações de rua e greves generalizadas. A polícia não conseguia deter o movimento e o exército recusava-se a marchar contra a população. Nicolau II abdicou.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;• Formou-se um governo provisório, dirigido por Alexandre Kerenski, apoiado por liberais e socialistas moderados – os mencheviques. O “comunismo de guerra”: 1918-1921&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 102, 0);"&gt;Objectivo:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Justificar o “comunismo de guerra.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;• As medidas tomadas por Lenine conduziram a um período de &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;guerra civil&lt;/span&gt;, de 1918 a1920, entre:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- O “Exército Branco”:&lt;/span&gt; os opositores do bolchevismo (mencheviques, monárquicos), apoiados por países estrangeiros (França, Grã-Bretanha, EUA, etc) que receavam a expansão do comunismo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; - O “Exército Vermelho”:&lt;/span&gt; os bolcheviques, defensores da revolução socialista.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;• A guerra civil e a forte oposição externa levaram Lenine a radicalizar as suas posições, o chamado &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;“comunismo de guerra” (1918-1921)&lt;/span&gt;, através de medidas repressivas e ditatoriais, tais como:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- a proibição dos partidos políticos, à excepção do Partido Comunista-Bolchevista (partido único);&lt;br /&gt;- a instauração da censura;&lt;br /&gt;- a criação de uma polícia política – a Tcheka;&lt;br /&gt;- a perseguição, prisão, tortura e morte dos adversários políticos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;• A guerra civil terminou em 1921, com a vitória do Exército Vermelho, mas a economia russa estava arruinada. As resistências às nacionalizações e as sucessivas más colheitas conduziram à fome à miséria. O “comunismo de guerra” aumentou o descontentamento da população, surgindo revoltas, greves e manifestações.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center; color: rgb(0, 0, 102);"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;5. A Nova Política Económica – NEP (1921)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 102, 0);"&gt;Objectivos:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Relacionar a situação sócio económica na Rússia após a guerra civil, com a NEP.&lt;br /&gt;- Caracterizar a NEP.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;• Lenine compreendeu que era necessário fazer “um recuo estratégico”, ou seja, optar por um retorno ao “capitalismo limitado por um tempo limitado”, como afirmou para justificar a sua &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Nova Política Económica, a NEP: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;• O Estado, embora continuasse a controlar os principais sectores da economia, permitia:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-  a formação de pequenas unidades privadas de produção, agrícolas e industriais;&lt;br /&gt;-  a entrada de capitais e técnicos estrangeiros;&lt;br /&gt;- alguma liberdade de comércio (por exemplo, permitiu aos camponeses a venda livre de produtos agrícolas).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;• Com a implementação da NEP, os níveis de produção aumentaram, o que permitiu a melhoria das condições de vida das populações e a estabilidade política.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 0, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;Definição de conceitos:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- Czarismo:&lt;/span&gt; é o regime político em que o chefe de Estado é um czar, título usado pelos monarcas da Rússia Imperial entre 1546 e 1917. Em pleno século XX o Estado russo ainda era uma Monarquia Absoluta. O Czar governava apoiado socialmente na nobreza.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- Duma:&lt;/span&gt; é o nome dado à Assembleia Nacional da Rússia, criada em 1906 pelo czar Nicolau II, substituída pelo Soviete Supremo na sequência da revolução de 1917.&lt;br /&gt;A Duma foi restabelecida com a queda do estado soviético, em 1991.&lt;br /&gt;A Duma tinha como objectivo, durante a revolução russa, criar um parlamento que servisse para acabar com o autoritarismo do czar e para que o povo tivesse o direito de eleger os seus governantes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- Sovietes:&lt;/span&gt; eram conselhos de representantes de operários, soldados e, posteriormente, camponeses; estes conselhos regulavam e organizavam a produção de um determinado território.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- Mencheviques:&lt;/span&gt; liderados por Martov, defendiam que os trabalhadores podiam conquistar o poder participando normalmente das actividades políticas. Acreditavam, ainda, que era preciso esperar o pleno desenvolvimento capitalista da Rússia, para se dar início efectivo à acção revolucionária. Como estes membros tiveram menos votos em relação ao outro grupo, ficaram conhecidos como mencheviques, que significa minoria.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- Bolcheviques:&lt;/span&gt; liderados por Lenine, defendiam que os trabalhadores só chegariam ao poder pela luta revolucionária. Defendiam a formação de uma ditadura do proletariado, na qual também estivesse representada a classe camponesa. Como este grupo obteve mais adeptos, ficou conhecido como bolchevique, que significa maioria.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- Marxismo-leninismo:&lt;/span&gt; é a adaptação da doutrina marxista feita por Lenine e posta em prática na Rússia após a Revolução Bolchevique.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- Ditadura do proletariado:&lt;/span&gt; segundo a doutrina marxista, é a 1ª etapa para o socialismo e consiste supremacia das classes trabalhadoras sobre as restantes. Seria uma fase de transição em que o proletariado, como classe dominante, retira todo o poder económico à burguesia e transfere-o para as mãos do Estado, o qual deve garantir o bem-estar de todos os cidadãos. Chegar-se-ia, assim, ao comunismo. Uma sociedade comunista é, em teoria, uma sociedade sem classes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;- Nacionalização da economia:&lt;/span&gt; é a transferência da propriedade privada para o Estado.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center; color: rgb(0, 0, 102);"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;6. A ascensão de Estaline (Josef Stalin)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Lenine, o fundador do primeiro Estado socialista, morreu em 1924 e a sua morte deu origem a uma violenta &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;luta pelo poder entre Trotsky e Estaline.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Os dois, marxistas, tinham concepções diferentes de política e revolução.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Para &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Trotsky&lt;/span&gt;, o sucesso do socialismo na URSS dependia da vitória de revoluções operárias nos países vizinhos. armamentos nacionais "ao nível mínimo compatível com a segurança";&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;5) Ajuste imparcial das pretensões coloniais, tendo em vista os interesses dos povos atingidos por elas;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;6) Evacuação da Rússia;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;7) Restauração da independência da Bélgica;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;8) Restituição da Alsácia e da Lorena à França;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;9) Reajustamento das fronteiras italianas, "seguindo linhas divisórias de nacionalidade claramente reconhecíveis";&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;10) Desenvolvimento autónomo dos povos da Áustria-Hungria;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;11) Restauração da Roménia, da Sérvia e do Montenegro, com acesso ao mar para Sérvia;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;12) Desenvolvimento autónomo dos povos da Turquia, sendo os estreitos que ligam o Mar Negro ao Mediterrâneo "abertos permanentemente"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;13) Uma Polónia independente, "habitada por populações indiscutivelmente polonesas" e com acesso para o mar; e&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;14) Uma &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Liga das Nações&lt;/span&gt;, órgão internacional que evitaria novos conflitos actuando como árbitro nas contendas entre os países.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Os "14 pontos" não previam nenhuma sanção séria para com os derrotados, abraçando a ideia de uma Paz "sem vencedores nem vencidos". No terreno prático, poucas propostas de Wilson foram aplicadas, pois o desejo de uma "vendetta" (vingança) por parte da Inglaterra e principalmente da França prevaleceram sobre as intenções americanas.&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;O Tratado de Versalhes:&lt;/strong&gt; conjunto de decisões tomadas no palácio de Versalhes no período de &lt;st1:metricconverter productid="1919 a" st="on"&gt;1919  a&lt;/st1:metricconverter&gt; 1920. As nações vencedoras da guerra, lideradas por Estados Unidos, França e Inglaterra, &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:85%;" &gt;impuseram duras condições à Alemanha derrotada&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;. O desejo dos alemães de superar as condições humilhantes desse tratado desempenhou papel importante entre as causas da Segunda Guerra Mundial:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;- Restituir a região da Alsácia-Lorena à França.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;- Ceder outras regiões à Bélgica, à Dinamarca e à Polónia (corredor polaco).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;- Ceder todas as colónias.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;- Entregar quase todos os seus navios mercantes à França, à Inglaterra e à Bélgica.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;- Pagar uma enorme indemnização em dinheiro aos países vencedores.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;- Reduzir o poderio militar dos seus exércitos, limitados a 100 mil voluntários, sendo proibida de possuir aviação militar, submarinos, artilharia pesada e tanques, e o recrutamento militar foi proibido.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;- Considerada a grande culpada pela guerra.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;A formação da &lt;b style=""&gt;Liga das Nações&lt;/b&gt; ou &lt;b style=""&gt;Sociedade das Nações (SDN)&lt;/b&gt;:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Em 28 de Abril de &lt;st1:metricconverter productid="1919, a" st="on"&gt;1919, a&lt;/st1:metricconverter&gt; Conferência de Paz de Versalhes aprovou a criação da Liga das Nações, com a missão de agir como mediadora nos casos de conflito internacional, preservando a paz mundial. Entretanto, sem a participação de países importantes como os Estados Unidos, União Soviética e Alemanha, a liga revelou-se um organismo impotente.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-size:85%;" &gt;A ascensão económica dos Estados Unidos no pós-guerra:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-size:85%;" &gt; os Estados unidos alcançaram significativo desenvolvimento económico através da exportação de produtos industrializados. Portugal e Espanha conseguem manter alguns dos seus antigos territórios coloniais. A Conferência de Berlim, em 1884 e 1885, oficializa e estabelece normas para a partilha. Esta pretensão portuguesa colidia com um ambicioso projecto inglês de ligar o Cairo (Egipto) ao Cabo (África do Sul).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A reacção do governo inglês chegou em Janeiro de 1890 sob a forma de um ultimato formal obrigando a que todas as tropas portuguesas se retirassem de imediato e incondicionalmente dos territórios em conflito sob a pena de corte de relações entre os dois países. Na prática significava que ou o governo português obedecia ou a Inglaterra declararia guerra a Portugal. Os afrontamentos imperialistas&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A Europa dominava o Mundo:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Hegemonia política: controlo sobre a maior parte dos continentes (colonialismo e imperialismo):&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;•A quase totalidade do continente africano era constituída por colónias francesas, inglesas, alemãs, belgas,, portuguesas, espanholas e italianas&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;•Em 1884, na Conferência de Berlim, os Estados europeus dividiram entre si a posse dos territórios de África.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;•A Ásia estava também, na sua maior parte, sob dominação europeia:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Os ingleses eram senhores da Índia;&lt;br /&gt;- A Rússia apoderou-se da Sibéria e do Turquestão;&lt;br /&gt;- O Sudoeste asiático era partilhado por ingleses, franceses e holandeses;&lt;br /&gt;- A Oceânia estava inteiramente controlada por diversas potências europeias;&lt;br /&gt;- Apenas a América era independente na sua maior parte, apesar de muitos estados da América Latina continuarem sob a influência da Europa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Superioridade económica e financeira da Europa:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;•As maiores potências económicas mundiais eram europeias (Inglaterra, Fança, Alemanha.)&lt;br /&gt;•Os europeus, em especial os ingleses, eram os banqueiros do mundo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Maior densidade populacional:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;•Em 1914, a Europa tinha quase 25 % da população mundial;&lt;br /&gt;•40 milhões de europeus estavam disseminados pelo mundo (em especial nos EUA e na América Latina)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Hegemonia cultural da Europa:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;•Líder nas invenções científicas e inovações até inícios do séc. XX;&lt;br /&gt;•Imitar a Europa era sinal de civilização…&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Desde a guerra franco-prussiana (1870-1871), nenhum conflito grave perturbou a paz na Europa.
